Gary who advertises in GA advertiser is fully licensed to carry out the work. He called yesterday and checked system etc. He advises it takes about 2 weeks for all paperwork to be officially stamped and new contracts issued with higher supply.
Cost is c250 euros and he sorts all paperwork etc and provides bolletin and new contract. He requires a copy of NIE and a bill from Iberdola for all contract numbers etc.

Does this cost include the charge from Iberdrola. When I had it carried out there was a charge from the electrician and then an additional charge from Iberdrola for changing to a higher rated contract. An agent from Iberdrola visited the house to inspect the circuit box.
Can not remember exactly but the Iberdrola charge was in excess of 100 euros

Gary, advises this is the total cost and he certifys the circuit box as a registered electrician. He had to do some work on the box to comply with the regulations .

We recently had our upgrade done by Gary, very efficient service by him, there was a subsequent fee from  Iberdrola of 120 euros . But now no worries of electric tripping.
Would not hesitate to recommend Gary.

The 120 euros was a separate amount.
