I can introduce a GDPR "Helper" to this site but it will not guarantee GDPR compliance from all members. What it will do is :-
Allow members to "export" their data, their profile and post information.
On membership deletion it will clear the IP address and email from posts and assign a new username to all old posts.
It will Include a privacy policy page, add a link in the footer and add a section for consent on registration.
It will store the date/time that the privacy policy was changed and introduce an option to force members to reagree.
It will store the date/time that the registration agreement was changed and force members to reagree.
As for dates of birth, just take a look at Facebook where thousands and thousands (probably millions) of members dates of birth are being posted every single day and if you think that the Facebook organisation do not understand the requirements of the "General Data Protection Regulation 2018" which was introduced throughout the whole of Europe in May of this year then I am afraid that is not correct.
As for "HTTPS" instead "HTTP" please understand that I now have the required SSL Cerificate installed on the web servers for ALL the websites I am running (5 sites altogether) and GAsbags is the only site that so far refuses to recognise it. I am constantly working on it and if you are not happy with the current situation I suggest you continue to "lurk" until I get it sorted out.
