Rubbish Bins

Went to put a bag of rubbish in the street bin in Av de Polonia a few days ago, the bin was empty but there were about thirty stinking bags of rubbish piled around it, I put the whole lot in the bin, I appreciate that at peak season there's more rubbish but this was just squalid, quite a few bags could have gone in the recycle bins. I bet when the episode for the TV series was filmed they edited out all this squalor.

Quite agree and know exactly where you mean Kevin.

Just a couple of days ago an old tall fridge/freezer appeared at the side of the bin - to join the old mattress and bedhead.  Of course white van man must have come along and removed the doors so it looks even worse than it did.

I wish there was CCTV to catch these morons who think this acceptable.

I saw that fridge and came to the same conclusion that the guy took just the doors, wish I'd been there to help put the whole fridge on his van, there's a lovely sodden matress to keep it company now.

Recently saw a massive heap of garden rubbish including palm tree just piled by the bin, it must have taken a mega effort and numerous trips. Now what was the culprit thinking when they did this, not a lot i would suggest because they just dont care, sadly these morons live amongst us.

It gets worse, someone has dumped a dead tree planted in a large reinforced builders bag. I'd gladly chip in to hire a sbuper to take these people out.

And a rolled up carpet, which had unrolled itself to reveal lots of empty cosmetic/suncream bottles!!

Anyone not knowing the common sense rules (I know - I know) or a full working brain, could think 'Ah thank goodness I don't have to go to the trouble of pressing the lever and lifting the lid of the bin to put my stuff inside'.

If these morons are spotted doing this is it ok to take a photo of them?  Not sure of the legalities of this.

Id be surprised if they went to the policia to complain that whilst they were illegally dumping waste on the highway and footpath someone took there image as evidence to further a prosecution. Personal safety being paramount of course.
