A text a mate’s just sent me;

“Classic today down the beach today police were moving the paid beds back in line with the umbrellas but if you owned your own they couldn't move you crazy”

I’d have loved to see the fun and games!!

Regards all

John

I assume the paid beds are only allowed a portion of the beach in line with rental agreement and the rest must be made available for general public. With the beach having been reduced by the environmental protection there is a lot less space.
We now tend to gravitate to Santa Pola Este, where there is plenty of parking near the beach, public toilets, bars etc and the sun beds are cheaper and more room!! However not been since early July so sure it's a lot busier now
