We are on 4.2b down the hill , Monte Y  Mar on the inside facing up an incline so when we had the floods before water came under  our front door Which is 20" higher than the road. Just had a neighbour check our house and its fine, so likely unless you are in a very low lying area you are ok, obviously not as bad as last time.

Our house is on Avenida de Polonia. My brother in law sent some pics earlier, pretty much the same as the video that’s been posted

From my Administrators

"Dear neighbour's
We get in touch with you in reference to rains registered last night.
For your information, the garbage truck was driving on its working route along Poland Avenue, which was flooded due to heavy rains, causing a massive wave that has caused many damages to both the Community and all vehicles that were parked on the Avenue.
We attach photographs of the damages caused.
We inform you that the engines pit of the big pool has been flooded and currently the engines do not work, so the big pool will remain closed until the engines can be replaced.
I want to inform you that tomorrow morning I will be able to collect the report of what has happened today made by the Local Police.
We have already given notice to the insurance company, in order to be able to proceed with the corresponding repairs as soon as possible.
Remnants of the fallen wall will be removed by the mason immediately, as well as specialist swimming pools company will proceed to change the engines of the large pool.
We are sorry for the inconvenience this circumstance may have caused, but we are working to return normalcy as soon as possible.
That is all for the present, please receive a cordial greeting".

A big wave from a garbage truck - tsunami perhaps!! Doesn't seem plausible - but then I wasn't there and this area always floods as the water gets caught in a dip in the road and has nowhere to go other than extend up and down the road

Dave

Yep. Heavy rain and storms last night through to around 6 am. We’ve not been out yet but I should imagine some basements are wet. We lost power but its back on now.

Seems strange weather for this time of year, Malaga also had bad storms. If you could provide an update on any damage in area  it would be good, were out in 10 days so hopefully settle down.
