Mercadonaś online store and delivery Altomar 2

Hi everybody
Has anyone tried
Mercadonaś online store and delivery to your house?
We live in Altomar 2
With closed gates / closed community
Does any of you live in our community?
Do anybody know if the driver have a remote for the gates?

What was your experience with the delivery ?
Thinking about using this one
Because of the high car rental prices this year!

Sounds like a great idea if they did deliver in the urbanization.

Doubt they would have remote for all gated communities, probably have to meet them at gates. Get the bus stops at supermarkets

I used to live on Novamar 3. When I couldn't drive for a while due too a medical condition, we used a couple of rucksacks and a shopping trolley and walked it. Do it fairly early in the day and it isn't too gruelling.

I've been using the Mercadona delivery service for four years now for the same reason: renting a car solely for shopping would be much more expensive than the delivery fee.

My flat is in Arenales in a community with closed gates, too. Mercadona staff will call you on the phone shortly before they reach your home. I usually wait downstairs to open the gate and show them the way to my flat. (Just because I'm not sure if the automatic door opener will function.)

So far my experience was very good: They came within the chosen delivery period, quality of fresh fruit and vegetables was excellent (not leftovers as one might fear), frozen goods are wrapped separately, staff is very friendly.

One thing that could be criticized: many plastic bags are necessary for wrapping and transport. But from an update on the Mercadona website I've learned that now it's possible to return them for reuse.

My friend gets deliveries to Altomar 2, he lives quite near a gate and once he'd showed them where to come, they now just arrive at his door with deliveries in the allotted time slot
