Quite apart from Gibraltar, one of the major concerns should, IMHO, be Turkey. All but one country in the EU does not regard Turkey as "safe" in relation to refugees, resulting in the current flood of migrants into Greece. Yet the latest EU/Turkey negotiation is an arrangement to ship them back to Turkey and further, to expedite Turkeys accession to the EU. Either Turkey is a "safe" destination and consequently asylum claims from those passing through the country should be refused as they did not claim it in the first safe country they reached or, if Turkey is "not safe", we should not even be considering Turkey joining the EU. We should consider clearly whether the EU is fundamentally dysfunctional quite apart from any sovereignty issues when voting in June.
