We've used Climazone since Eric retired, very good. From memory it's 30 euros per unit.

Eric still does servicing.  He doesn't install units anymore, due to an injury

Just trying to work out what "servicing" actually entails.

There are no serviceable parts (except a re-gas and you would know if that was needed)

All I have ever done in the 12 years I have had my old Daitsu (Climazone fitted) units is to carefully lift the front covers - take out all the filters and give then a good clean, wash and dry in the sun and brush/vacuum the vanes inside with the Dyson hand held

Never had a problem with mine except a faulty remote control - remedied by a Amazon multi-function universal remote.

Last time he checked the gas oiled a few bits and sprayed anti legionnaire spray etc not sure what else he did but they both worked better

Spot on BeachLife, Eric installed a Panasonic unit for me, when I said I’ll see you in a year for the servicing he said it doesn’t need servicing, other than clean the filters in the indoor unit and brush the muck off the condenser on the roof.
He showed me how to do the job myself on the unit he installed and the other units somebody else had installed, he also said not to waste money on expensive air conditioning deodorisers, he showed me where and roughly how much antibacterial kitchen cleaner to spray
He said call me out if it’s not cold/hot enough or if you hear the refrigerant gas bubbling.

After that advice I did it myself and never had need to call anyone out.
Regards all

John

Just to add, we virtually all accept air conditioning as a standard feature in our cars nowadays, other than replacing the filters every couple of years what servicing does that receive?
Who has a refrigerator or freezer serviced?
BeachLife raised a good point.
