Personally I wouldn’t touch any paint from the Chinese shop, you save pennies get poor quality and none of the money paid supports the Spanish economy. The briko  sells quality paint or better still the long running pintura shop in Santa Pola.

Totally agree with Wilson the paint from the Chinese shops is hopeless try brico or the paint shop behind carrefour in Santa pola if it’s still there

A neighbour of ours painted his solarium with white paint from the Chinese shop, after very heavy rain, it ran down the walls! Not easy to get off the terracotta coloured tiles it landed on. 😩😩

if you go to Bricodepot, Le Roy etc. you will find a wide choice of paint with a huge variation in price for what appears to be a similar product. Special offers of 10 euro up tp 50 euros for the same size tub. You pays your money and makes your choice. I have always found cheap paint to be false economy and tend to go for a paint in the mid price range. As denandrose says - cheap paint washes off.

If it’s for balustrades, whatever you do, make sure you jet wash, clean down, rub down first. If you just paint over the layers of dirt and sand, it’ll be off in no time regardless of the paint quality.

Pintura store in Santa Pola has moved  turn left at McDonald's roundabout at the next roundabout turn back towards McDonald's and enter through the bus station (bit confusing the first time)there is a sign .Went Friday got excellent choices and very helpful.
