Hi guys,
Wonder if you can help. we after 12 years have put our holiday home in GA on the market. Hoping for a quick and trouble free sale we are now looking toward the most cost effective, safe method of transferring Euros to our UK bank. Our solicitor recommends Corpay who I know very little about. I have got an account with Wise and just applied for the same with Currencies Direct so I have options. it seems the plan is not to pay the proceeds into a Spanish bank as the charge the earth. Now very confused, Has anybody experienced this recently and could point me in a safe sensible direction.
Cheers
Keith

We used Currencies Direct. They sent a representative to the Notary on the day of the sale to collect the bank draft from us as this meant that it did not cost us anything. If we had had a bank transfer we would have incurred bank charges.
