My neighbor here in Yorkshire ..Audrey,  and her husband used to have an Appartment at Carlton towers, they were invited to the opening dinner and dance at the Hotel
It was attended by spanish politicians,
And. Was a very lavish occasion .

Hi Chris and Jackie,

according to Spanish newspaper reports (via Google searches), the hotel has not been used for over 3 decades (30 years) and the hotel project will be part of the Princesol chain, which currently has four hotels in Benidorm.

I would have thought the residents of Arenalas will be grateful for any improvement on the site

Lot of activity on the old hotel today, workmen have installed Two external stair cases one at each end of the building and material is being thrown down. Sat on beach t.oday for two hours  in sun
