Amazing. We all had letters telling us the work would start 3 WEEKS AGO and to move all cars away from the areas to be re surfaced. This is Spain!

Are some people drunk when they post on here as I am completely confused where this thread is going :(  I thought the initial post was informing us that the road was being dug up/repaired - now I am wondering who is chilling and who is a stereo-type!

There was nothing wrong with my reply at all, what forum rules did I break?

Now we have two comments which I think deserve rebuke answered, and furthermore I think I've been accused of being a drunkard?

Please reinstate my comments, or show me which forum rules I broke.

There's lots of tape going up this morning, does this mean they will finish it before Easter.....or just leave the tape up all holiday.

Maybe I missed some which were more antagonistic than mine? Either way I intensely dislike being censored.

I made my comments in defence of our Spanish hosts. I simply hate anti-Spanish sentiment, and from the first post's "idiots" to the other post's "This is Spain!" it won't slide with me. I have nothing more to say on the subject, but ask people to refrain from slander of the Spanish, and that such should be added to the rules and not tolerated.

Nothing more from me in this thread, but if this comment is removed, I will remove myself, permanently, thanks.

So in this nirvana of yours would us plebs be permitted to criticise anything Spanish or would you have such comments heavily censored?

In my nirvana people can criticise whatever they like, so long as other people are afforded the right to defend whom, or whatever has been criticised without censorship. All of this taking place in a civilised manner, with no recourse to personal attacks or other silliness. People have every right to think that the Spanish have a "way", and I have every right to point out that I don't agree. Simple as that,. Now really, I won't comment more in this thread, I just wanted to clarify my thoughts, and I retract my previous comment about writing into the rules that people can't criticise the Spanish, I was angry when I wrote that.
