I reckon it might be to use on the NHS app that will have your covid passport on it from Monday

Apologies Ray but in which country did you get vaccinated, looking at my SIP I can’t see how my UK vaccinations would be easily transferred, they show on my NHS account and hopefully on the new GHIC which will be more useful wherever you travel in the world.

I have got the "Patient Access" app on my phone which can get to my vaccination status - but it's quite convoluted buried in the menus

Downloaded the NHS app and whilst I installed it correctly I can't get a correct login as my GP surgery isn't recognised by the app (although on Patient Access it is)

It's looking for a Linkage key which is different from the one I used on Patient Access - I'll queue up on the phone and try and get through

Our GP Practice informed all their patients yesterday that the record of Covid vaccinations will appear on the NHS App from the 17th May.
They went on to say that if you do not have the facility to use the App you should contact 119 and they will issue a paper copy of your "vaccination passport"

Regards all

John

PS nothing showing on my NHS App currently.

My first jab (Feb) has been confirmed on the NHS since I downloaded it on 29 April, I'll let you know as soon as the second's confirmed after I have it on Thursday.

Both my vaccinations show on the NHS app and are quite easy to find - the difference I think on the updated app will be that the information shows on a separate page to the rest of your medical history. All to do with privacy. Will it be acceptable though when traveling, it was suggested today that its main function would be to allow entry to mass events in the UK later in the lock down relaxation.

Hi we previously had patient access app then downloaded the nhs app, in our case the data lady at the surgery still had to give new access to the App. I think they were inundated at the time, once allowed our whole records going back years was showing including over 20 immunisations with the last 2 being the Covid jabs, I assume that the Covid passport will be a specific page or document as otherwise it will be buried within your other stuff and not easily apparent.

Thanks Wilson.

Jus want it to be on the correct App that will be recognized when we can travel (hopefully) in June.  I am sure I can fix it by then

I've only got the NHS app on my iPhone. Had for a while so that I could re-order my prescriptions online. Checked it the other day and my Covid jabs appear on there although, as has been mentioned, it's buried a bit. Not heard about this "patient access" app. Can anyone elaborate before I enter the labyrinth of the app store.

Tony I wouldn’t worry about Patient Access app, it launched several years ago and was used by some but not all GP practices to do repeat prescriptions and see other medical data. Dr Sarah Jarvis who you and hear on the tv/radio is a director of the company. The nhs eventually got there digital act together and launched there own version which is very similar. The issue some are having I believe relates to the GP who is responsible for your records authorising there release to the app with varying levels of verification required to avoid fraud and potential being linked to someone else’s record. Also a facility to have others in your app who may not be technical minded.
