Can't help regarding accommodation as we stayed in Malaga but just a heads up, when you go to the Alhambra, remember to take ID. They will only accept the original (no photocopies)
Quite a few people in our tour got turned away as they had only taken photocopies of their passports.
A long daytrip for them from Malaga to sit on the coach  :(
