Cleaned my solarium drain today, such is the design of these units that over time dirt accumulates in a side sump and the actual pipe is raised and has a cap to stop lumps of rubbish falling in the pipe, this does make the assembly prone to blocking, this happened to a neighbour who hadn't visited the house for three years and with the huge downpours this year ended up with several inches of water on the solarium which found its way into the house and his neighbours, caused a lot of damage.
